Coursera offers a four-module course that covers the basics of AI, what it can do, when to use it, how to work with AI, and how to navigate the ethical component that goes along with AI use. This course is appropriate even for those who are non-technical!
Responsible AI Practices
​Google offers a list of recommended AI practices and detailed descriptions. This site goes into great detail regarding fairness, interpretability, privacy, and safety & security issues. It also includes examples of Google's work with AI resources and tools.
AI in Society
The University of Endinburgh offers a short online course that covers how AI technology functions with the context of society. This short course does not require any previous knowledge of AI or issues related to its use.
Gen AI - UMich
​This website generated by the University of Michigan has an overview of the most important generative AI information and resources. This website includes guidance, committee reports, and AI news throughout the community. Included in the resources is the university's own GPT resource for those at the university to gain a more interactive experience with AI tools.
The Fundamentals of ChatGPT
This free course by "Alison" online courses only takes 1.5-3 hours to complete, and it covers the basics of AI and ChatGPT. The course helps the everyday individual to become more familiar with the uses and advantages of AI resources, and how to become more efficient with new strategies.
Explore ChatGPT & AI
This article by "Common Sense Education" covers much of what an individual should know about AI tools in the education environment. This article provides multiple resources that cover information about AI resources, Webinars to explore more, and even covers when to be cautious around AI. The article also includes some "experiments" for individuals to become more familiar with using AI.
